Beautiful building in a beautiful location. The neighbouring village is lovely and there are local woodland walks. Very comfortable accommodation. Impressive (if expensive) breakfast.
Staffing of reception was rather erratic.

The food was marvelous and the service was too.Could not fault anything other than the lack of drawer space in the room.

They allow dogs and have an outside terrace where dogs can sit with you while you eat. Parking was plentiful and in the courtyard close by.
We paid almost 30 euro for their buffet breakfast. It was not included in the room charge and it was the same that you would receive at any average hotel. They had hard boiled eggs. Only cold meat and cheese. Normally at average hotels you get scrambled eggs and sausages and bacon. We were in a hurry, I filled two (one cup size) paper cups with coffee from our table cups to take on the road with us and wrapped two small rolls from our plates in a paper napkin that we did not have time to finish with us. At the check out desk I got a "pointed stare down" from a hotel staff. At 30 euro, If I want to take my coffee and a roll from our table/plate I have the right to do it. I paid a high price for it.
